Wireless Bank Selection and Frequency Selection for 64 Channel Wireless

TOA wireless products currently use wireless frequencies in the following bands;

  • E01 668.750-697.600Mhz (64 channels) - 600Mhz illegal to use as of 2021
  • F01 636.500-665.675Mhz (64 channels) - 600Mhz illegal to use as of 2021
  • G02 615.925-635.050 (56 channels)- 600Mhz illegal to use as of 2021
  • H01 578.600-605.700 (64 channels) - ok to use

When ordering replacement product, please make sure you specify the correct frequency band for compatibility.

These frequencies are arranged into 4 banks (1-2-3-4) with each bank containing 16 channels (0-1-2...E-F)

The channel frequencies are arranged in these banks so that inter channel spacing will not cause interference should all 16 channels be used simultaneously.

The availability of having 64 channels allows the user to find channels that are free from interference from other wireless sources being used in the broadcast area.

First determine what channels are free from outside inference by using any scan feature available on the TOA wireless.

Determine the maximum number of usable channels in any given bank 1-4.

Select any of the channels in that bank for your wireless system. Only use channels in the same bank.

Using channels across multiple banks will cause interference between the microphones.
