How to Broadcast the National Anthem with a single button push using the N-8000 IP Intercom
If you have an N-8000AF being used for bell scheduling in your school intercom system, the addition of an EV-20R can allow you to broadcast the national anthem to your school and stop automatically.
Here’s what you need to do:
1. Determine how long your national anthem recording is. Once determined, plug the duration into the “signal activation time” of your schedule settings into the N-8000 setting software (anyone from 6-9 can be used). Example duration of 100 seconds is used below in signal #6.
2. Now you must program a speed dial/one touch dial on your master station. The function code will be: FUNCTION 91, time signal # (6-9 depends on which signal you chose above), 0 or 1 (0 is access to external control OFF; 1 is access to external control ON) then Zone # I.e. FUNCTION 91 6 0 1 - Function 91 is the code, 6 is the tone/C-OUT chosen, 0 for access to external control off, 1 represents ZONE 1
