Is there a detailed drawing of the cable for the AM-1?

I was looking at the manual for the AM-1 and I noticed that the balanced output of the control module is connected to the unbalanced inputs of the Polycom® codecs. There is no detail drawing of the cable, only the XLR end.
Why twisted pair cabling?
